Cupping Massage

Cupping is an ancient Chinese therapy in which glass cups are applied to the skin. Heat is applied to the cups to create a suction in order to draw and hold the skin and tissue/fascia inside the cup; this allows the free circulation of QI (energy) and blood to flow. The therapist may move the cups, while the suction is active (walking cups) causing the skin and muscle to be pulled to increase the level of blood supply in the area, stimulating blood and lymphatic circulation, (providing nutrients and oxygen), activates the immune system and eliminates toxins.
